History

An ancient sighthound breed from China, sometimes called the 'Chinese Greyhound', utilized for thousands of years in hunting and coursing wild game including hares. Has several regional varieties and played an important part in Chinese aristocratic and rural life. Its lineage is documented in Chinese art and literature dating back thousands of years and is recognized by the FCI and AKC Foundation Stock Service.
